Hello CloudLand fans,

the second edition of the four-day Cloud Native Festival is already on the horizon – CloudLand 2023, the event of DOAG's German-speaking Cloud Native Community, will be taking place in just under five months. Showtime is June 20-23 at Phantasialand.

Call for Participation

The Call for Participation is still open for 14 days! Until January 31, 2023, we are eagerly awaiting your submissions, which we favor in 8 interactive formats: Challenge, CloudArt, Cloud Native Customer Stories, Discussion Cloud, Ensemble Clouding, Panel Talk, Show and Workshop. This way, the four topics Container & Cloud Technologies, Microservices & Domain-driven Design, DevOps & Methodology and CI/CD & Automation will be brought to life in an unconventional and exciting way – by the community for the community. As a mainspeaker, you can look forward to a large stage and attend the entire festival free of charge. 

The interactive formats of CloudLand

On the CLoudLand homepage you will find an overview of the interactive formats. There you can then access more information about each one. Submitting your format works with a click in the box "Submit presentation now!".

The CloudLand Barcamp

Day 1 of CloudLand will be opened by the Barcamp. A barcamp is an unconference or non-conference. There are topics, but no set program schedule – and no pre-commissioned talks or speakers! Of course, mainspeakers and headliners of the festival also participate in the CloudLand Barcamp. But the most important maxim is: The participants determine the program.

The sessions of a Barcamp can be very different, from an ordinary lecture to an ask session to special discussions, from small workshops to brainstorming sessions to cool demos. We will explain the so-called Rules of Barcamp in the upcoming mailings.
