DOAG 2024 Database with Exaday: Oracle Database 23ai

Dear Database fans

Last week, Larry Ellison, Executive Chairman and CTO, and Juan Loaiza, Executive Vice President of Mission Critical Database Technologies, announced that the new version will be called Oracle 23ai.
Following the release of Oracle 23c last year as a cloud variant for developers, the new database version with the new name Oracle 23ai is now available on Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, OCI Exadata Database Service, OCI Base Database Service and Azure Oracle Database Service.

On this occasion, the new closing session "Oracle 23ai – What’s new about it?" will take place on the second day of the conference at 3 p.m. In this session, competent database specialists and Oracle ACE pros Johannes Ahrends, CarajanDB GmbH, DOAG Head of Database Administration, and Robert Marz, Databee – Die IT-Architekten, DOAG Head of Cloud and DOAG Deputy Head of DevOps, will evaluate the new database version from their perspective.

This will be followed by a Q&A session which will also be attended by Oracle ACE Director Martin Klier, Performing Databases GmbH and DOAG Head of High Availability, as well as Markus Michalewicz, Oracle Vice President of Product Management. In addition, there will be further sessions on the new database version 23ai.
