Dear APEX fans, dear database friends

In just over 40 days, your favorite conferences, #apexconn25 and #DOAGDB25, will kick off at the Confertainment Center at Europa-Park in Rust. For the first time, these events will take place simultaneously – one day apart – and feature a joint exhibition in the Dome and a joint evening program in the park. #apexconn25 opens on May 13, with #DOAGDB25 following on May 14.

At #DOAGDB25, you can expect exciting presentations on database and cloud infrastructure from top international speakers, sessions for newcomers and experts, and professional development. #apexconn25 will feature international experts in its Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and – for the first time – Solutions streams, offering product updates, deep dives, best practices, and numerous customer stories that demonstrate the effects and benefits of the APEX low-code platform firsthand.

The programs of Database with Cloud Infrastructure and APEX connect 2025 offer a total of around 130 sessions – mark your favorites now! Tickets at the early bird price are only available until tomorrow, April 1, 2025, in the DOAG Database Shop and the APEX connect Shop. With our combination tickets, you can even attend both conferences. Discounted tickets offer savings of up to EUR 360. You can also conveniently reserve your hotel room at Europa-Park in the shops until April 10 – after that, the DOAG call-off quota will no longer be available.

On the evening before the conference, Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, May 13, you can already participate in a workshop "AI Vector Search in Oracle Database 23ai" by Markus Kissling, Oracle, in the atmospheric mirrored tent Palace of Dreams.

Look forward to the keynote "More on Oracle's Release 23ai – Still no Slides & Marketing, but 100% Demos" on the first day of the conference. Martin Bach, Oracle, will talk about features that not only increase productivity, but also make the database easier to use.

Who Knows? DOAG Edition promises to be an entertainment highlight in the attractive event location Palace of Dreams on the first evening of the conference. In this quiz, as in the well-known German TV quiz show, two teams compete against each other in different question categories. And as in the original, the audience can participate and support the teams.

After the quiz, we'll be joining the APEX community for an evening program with music, dancing, and drinks at Europa-Park's French theme park. There'll be plenty of opportunity for personal exchange and networking in the beautiful setting.

There are nine sessions of the Beginner Stream in the CircusCelebrations room and at Palace of Dreams especially for database beginners and those interested in an introduction to the basics of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

If you're into sports, don't forget your running shoes! This year, the second day of #apexconn25 will once again begin with the 5K Fun Run. During a relaxed jog around the park, visitors can share their impressions of the first day and get plenty of fresh air.  

By the way, the importance of artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly apparent – ​​and APEX connect is also taking this into account. Over 40 sessions of the approximately 70-part program will feature AI – from personal AI assistants to tenders with AI and APEX to in-depth exploration of the 23ai platform.

That's why NGOs will once again be there with their booths this year to provide information on a controversial topic and draw attention to grievances.
